π΅οΈ Spy Game Rules
Read once. Play smart. No arguments later π
π― OBJECTIVE
- There is ONE SPY hidden among the players.
- All other players are CITIZENS.
- Citizens win by correctly identifying the Spy.
- The Spy wins by blending in and avoiding suspicion.
- The phone acts as the HOST. No human knows all secrets.
π GAME FLOW
- Players enter names and choose a game mode.
- The phone is passed one-by-one for secret chits.
- Each player silently reads their chit.
- After all chits are seen, discussion begins.
- Everyone gives ONE short description in order.
- After discussion, decide who won the round.
π΅οΈ MODE 1: BLANK CHIT (CLASSIC)
- All Citizens receive the SAME WORD.
- The Spy receives a BLANK chit.
- Important Rule: The first speaker is NEVER the Spy.
- Citizens describe the word without saying it.
- The Spy must guess the word from othersβ hints.
- Spy should stay vague and avoid details.
Example: Word = "Pizza"
Citizens: "Cheesy, usually round"
Spy: "Something people enjoy together"
π MODE 2: RELATED WORDS
- Two similar but different words are used.
- Citizens get Word A (e.g. Pizza).
- Spy gets Word B (e.g. Burger).
- Everyone thinks they are safe β including the Spy.
- Small detail mismatches expose the Spy.
- Over-specific answers are dangerous.

β MODE 3: QUESTIONS
- Two similar questions are used.
- Citizens answer Question A.
- Spy answers Question B.
- Answers must be natural and honest.
- No fixed word exists in this mode.
- Listen for answers that feel βoff-topicβ.
Question A: Favorite Hobby?
Question B: Favorite Sport?
Spy may mention cricket while others mention painting.
π£οΈ DESCRIPTION RULES
- Each player speaks ONCE per round.
- If players feel unsure, they may agree to play another description round before
voting.
- Maximum: 1-2 words or ONE short phrase.
- Speak in the order shown on screen.
- No interruptions or side comments.
π³οΈ VOTING & REVEAL
- After discussion rounds are complete, players move to voting.
- Each player votes for ONE suspected Spy.
- Votes are counted openly.
- The player with the most votes is accused as the Spy.
- If there is a tie, description giving rounds continue.
π« STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED
- β Saying the exact word or spelling it.
- β Using actions, sounds, or gestures.
- β Copying another player's description.
- β Changing your answer after hearing others.
π SCORING
- If Citizens win β all Citizens get +1 point.
- If Spy wins β the Spy gets +2 points.
- Scores carry forward across rounds.
- Final winner has the highest total score.
π WIN CONDITIONS
- If the accused player is NOT the Spy β Spy wins immediately.
- If the accused player IS the Spy β Citizens win immediately.
π‘ Tip: Stay calm. Overthinking exposes the Spy faster than silence.
